Thank you for your interest in leading a Mob the Block Chapter! Mob the Block Chapters bring our movement to cities across the country, helping Black-owned businesses gain visibility, build community support, and grow.

As a Chapter Leader, you will be the local ambassador of the Mob the Block movement, mobilizing communities to show up, spend intentionally, and elevate Black-owned businesses. This is an individual leadership role, and all applicants must submit a current resume.

Applications will be reviewed by the Mob the Block team, and only selected candidates will be invited for an interview.

Interested in sharing your entrepreneurial journey at MOBFEST™? Founders Lounge speakers participate in a candid conversation about how they started their business, the wins they've celebrated, the challenges they've overcome, and the lessons they've learned along the way. Speakers should be comfortable answering audience questions and providing insight that can help aspiring and established entrepreneurs navigate their own business journey.

MOBFEST™ is an immersive celebration of Black ownership, entrepreneurship, creativity, and culture. We encourage participating brands to think beyond simply selling products and instead create memorable experiences that allow attendees to discover, engage with, and connect with their business in meaningful ways.

Priority consideration may be given to brands offering interactive experiences, demonstrations, workshops, customizations, make-and-take activities, educational experiences, sampling opportunities, or service-based activations.

Not every brand is required to provide an activation, and product based displays are still welcome. However, businesses that invite attendees to participate, learn, create, or engage help bring the MOBFEST™ experience to life. The brands people remember most are often the ones they experience.

We encourage participating brands to show up in the spirit of collaboration, generosity, and ownership by engaging with attendees, sharing their entrepreneurial journey, answering questions, offering encouragement, and sharing lessons and insights that may inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and creators.

Built on the belief that ownership should not be gatekept, our goal is for every attendee to leave inspired, informed, and empowered to take their next step toward ownership.

We're NOT asking you to become a coach or consultant—simply to contribute to an environment where people leave informed, encouraged, and empowered.

All vendors must submit a certificate of insurance. If you are a food/beverage vendor you must obtain a one day Temporary Food Service Facility Permit for any single-day event. You must apply at least 14 business days before the event per Prince George's County Health Department.
