Job Description
Mob the Block is seeking a group of emerging young creatives to join our Mob Media Team this summer. This is a hands-on creative internship designed for individuals who are passionate about storytelling, culture, and capturing meaningful moments within the community. We are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for storytellers, visual creators, and detail-oriented creatives who understand how to document energy, emotion, and impact through content.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in:

Content creation

Short-form video (Reels, TikToks, etc.)

Visual storytelling

Capturing real-life moments, people, and cultural experiences
Role Overview
As a member of the Mob Media Team, you will assist in documenting and bringing to life the stories happening within our community. Your work will help shape how we capture and share the culture in real time.
You will be responsible for capturing content related to:

Mob the Block events
-
Black-owned businesses
-
Community stories and initiatives
-
Behind-the-scenes moments
-
Everyday impact happening within our neighborhoods
Who We’re Looking For
This role is open to ages 17–23 and does not require formal experience. However, we are seeking individuals who demonstrate:

Compensation
Please note: This is currently an unpaid summer internship. It is designed to provide hands-on experience, portfolio development, creative growth, and meaningful exposure to community-based media work.
